Food Bucket List

I saw a ‘Food Bucket List’ on the blog, and I thought it was a FANTASTIC idea! So…without further ado. Here is a list of foods that I PLAN on one day (soon) eating and thoroughly enjoying!

  • Good ole’ peanut butter and jam sandwich (Celebrated on National PB&J Holiday, April 2nd) 🙂 🙂 🙂 ***NEEDS TO BE REPEATED* (still real scared)
  • Bread/toast– needs to be repeated A LOT
  • Grilled cheese  ***REPEAT NECESSARY* (still scared)
  • Grilled cheese with ketchup {I assume this will be harder…baby steps :)} ***
  • Tomato soup WITH grilled cheese (It’s all about the childhood nostalgia) ***
  • Roasted sweet potatoes with ketchup  <– That’s right.
  • Restaurant sweet potato fries (On my sister’s 20th birthday!) ***
  • Roasted white/red skin potatoes with ketchup
  • Scrambled eggs with ketchup (don’t ask about the ketchup thing- I don’t understand it either) Freakin delicious. Ketchup is amazing. Why did I not eat it for umm, 7 years??! Wtf.
  • Ice cream sundae
  • Bowl of GF pasta  ***
  • Pesto GF pasta ***
  • Eat something other than salad for lunch
  • Eat toast for breakfast  ***
  • Pancakes/homemade waffles (and not a dumb protein pancake- a REAL one) with maple syrup and buttttaaa
  • Gluten-free ‘Eggo-type’ waffles for breakfast with maple syrup and butter ***
  • Apple crisp (!!!) WITH ice cream. Ch-yeahhhh 😉
  • Pumpkin spice latte  DUN BOTCHES!!!!
  • Starbucks mocha
  • Starbucks hot chocolate
  • Tea with sugar and regular milk
  • Bagel with cream cheese  psssh, like all summer long. *** 
  • Yogurt with granola
  • CAKE!!! (Devil’s food…coming soon 😉  FACK YEAH!!! With homemade chocolate buttercream frosting!!! #proudmoment
  • Freshly baked cookies Double chocolate chunk, straight out of the oven, yo. Thank you, Chelsie!!!! xo
  • Frozen yogurt Umm, times 4. Times… I’ve lost count. Like a boss.
  • Nachos (ambitious, I know)
  • Oatmeal cookies with M & M’s  DONE BABY!!!
  • Chicken Caesar salad <– I did salmon Caesar salad, so close!
  • Pizza
  • Peanut butter ‘Puffins’ cereal
  • Cinnamon ‘Puffins’ 
  • Carrots and hummus as a snack <– New favourite snack! Why was I scared of this?!
  • Buttered muffin
  • A day with no vegetables
  • Apple pie ‘Larabar’
  • Cashew cookie Larabar
  • PB cookie Larabar
  • Brown rice (so weird…used to be safe food few years ago, then became scary…good again now 🙂 ***
  • Fruit loops-type cereal (Does a gluten-free fruit loops-ish cereal even exist? Meh)
  • Gluten-free animal crackers  ***
  • Homemade Sweet potatoe fries
  • Cinnamon Raisin Toast for breakfast (2 pieces, toasted with coconut oil and cinnamon. Done.)  ***
  • Key lime pie Oikos Greek yogurt
  • Iced Cappuccino from Tim Horton’s
  • Wrap filled with veggies/salmon/beans etc
  • Gluten-free pretzels <– These are the bomb. My gluten-eating family says they’re the best pretzels they’ve ever had. #winning
  • Gluten-free ‘Oreos’ <–
  • GF lemon poppyseed loaf with butta
  • GF Banana pound cake
  • Dark chocolate covered almonds
  • Peanut M&M’s
  • Mocha almond fudge coconut milk ice cream  Unfortunately, this was really not good…
  • One WHOLE week without quinoa (quinoa is SUCH a safe food for me…this needs to stop/change)
  • Starbucks Peach Green tea lemonade
  • Gluten free chocolate caramel shortbread
  • Oatmeal white chocolate chip cranberry cookie
  • Chocolate covered almonds
  • ‘Turtles’ chocolate 
  • GF chocolate chip muffin
  • Apples (I fear the bloat + bad memories when I would only allow myself to eat HALF an apple. WTF).
  • Tropical fruits– pineapple, mango, etc. So high in sugar I could die, right?

***= I tried it once and ONLY once, and I am still petrified of it. So I must repeat until I habituate/desensitize myself to it.

No asterisks= I have repeated it lots/would not be scared to eat it up if someone handed it to me in the next five seconds. I think I should be pretty proud of that 🙂

This is all that has come to mind thus far. I will continue to add foods to the list when I think of them, in addition to crossing the ones off which I complete.
